Gone are the days when a 99p Cadbury’s advent calendar would do. Oh no, the countdown to Christmas gone all fancy pants. The Clarins calendar has already sold out and it’s not even November but there are still some treats you can get your mitts on.
- In their words ‘Brimming with all your favourite scents from the iconic Parisian perfumer house, including everything from home candles to indulgent body polishes and infused facial waters, it’ll be sure to delight the senses of both men and women alike.” For anyone who’d like to part with £250 the Diptique calendar takes the Christmas countdown to a whole new level.
- Who doesn’t love Lego? Everyone’s favourite yellow figurines will surprise you each day in December in the Lego Calendar for a more respectful £19.50
- Coming very soon, 25 beauty treats from M&S but if you can’t wait for a mini beauty fix L’Occitane’s offering is crammed full of best sellers.
- It’s no secret the team at Rock My Ltd won’t say no to a swig of gin, however best to wait until you get home before you open the door on the Ginvent calendar.
- At the time of writing there was still stock of the Benefit ‘Rock Around the Clock’ Calendar at Debenhams. For £34.50 this set promises to wow you with £68 of glam bestsellers.
I’m very intrigued to find anyone who buys these calendars. Do you buy them for yourself or as a gift? If anyone’s asking I’ll take one of the Diptique ones…
I’m really tempted to buy the Benefit one but the M&S one looks good too…decisions, decisions!! I think the Body Shop might do one too. You have to buy them for yourself because they sell out so quickly you can’t wait till December to see if someone buys it for you…that’s my excuse anyway! ?
I heard really good things about the M&S one last year Laura. Let us know which one you end up with x
I actually think I prefer a 99p dairy milk one (not that they are 99p any more!!). Every year my Father in Law buys us all one of these super fancy advent calendars and although it’s lovely there is part of me that thinks it’s a bit of a waste of money and I’d rather have one full sized treat instead! Without fail Edd gets a lego starwars one every year which he adores as he’s a big kid. The girls have been getting playmobil ones which although nice are actually full of so many tiny pieces rather than big playmobil characters. It also means that my shelves are full of tiny pieces for the whole of December as they always want them out on display. I have been the lucky recipient of everything from Hotel Chocolat ones to candles. In my view, stick with the dairy milk and buy yourself a new Chanel lippy to wear for the festive season!! xxx
Ha Lottie. Great plan!
That’s is actually a great plan Lottie! ??? Although I just found this link of lots of different calendars, the No. 7 one sounds good! Lx
I got one of the Benefit ones this year – I love that you get the minis so they’re great subs for when I’m travelling as I can fit more in the teeny clear bag and I get to try out the products that I haven’t yet tried. £34.50 isn’t too horrendous for what you get to be fair. Last year I got a Yankee candle one and I’m still working my way through the candles you get!! ?
Great plan to save them for travelling – then it’s like Christmas all year round 😉
I got the sanctuary one from boots. I can’t wait till December 1st
I got the one from lookfantastic.de and yes, I got it for myself!! Can’t wait for December to roll around!
Hubby bought me the Clarins calendar last year. It was packed upside down though so I couldn’t get my mitts on the products until after Christmas – bit pants given the brand / price and all but was nice to have a range of products to trial.
I have gone for the lookfantastic one as an indulgent treat for me 🙂 It arrived on Saturday – and I am leaving it all boxed up to try and reduce temptation to open things early (like a month early)!!
