Over on Rock My Family today Lottie shares animal motif kids fashion and decor while RMW embraces introducing a mammal or two into your wedding decor. Can you imagine what we’re chatting about? Yep that’s right animal inspired interiors and fashion. I have to confess an insect or bird may have slipped in too but I feel everyone needs a bumble bee in their decor.
Living It Up In Leopard
First up, the fashion. I’m with Jenna Lyons, ‘As far as I’m concerned, leopard is a neutral’. Whatever the time of year and whatever the occasion leopard print is always in fashion. My faux fur coat is a staple of my cooler weather wardrobe and I may have two or three feline printed shoes in my cupboard. I’d be lying if I said there weren’t a couple of leo skirts hanging on my rail too. My Bet Lynch obsession may need reigning it but Lisa says the Topshop Maxi looks immense in real-life…

Just A Slither
Safari chic goes beyond the leopard. Enter zebra, tiger, cheetah and all other other manner of animal inspired prints. However for the minute let’s chat about snakeskin slithering its way into our wardrobes. I’d love a new grey everyday bag and the Asos Suede Shopper is a high contender.

For Your Lily Pad
The Habitat ‘Hop’ cushion at the top of the post is a firm RMS favourite and has featured in many a home tour. While stags and other woodland creatures are still hopping and strutting their stuff, doggie style seems to be getting some airplay too.

Any animal inspired pieces you’re loving at the moment? Does anyone else embrace a bit of Ms Lynch too?
Well now that gold flamingo jewellery stand is a little bit gorgeous isn’t it! Although I’d be tempted to just have it on display on its own rather than drape any jewels on it. And I ADORE the River Island Leopard Print coat too!
It would look so good on display Lolly! x
I bought that little Topshop saddle bag on Tuesday and am also swooning over a pair of Boden leopard flats… Leopard print never goes out of style, I don’t think. Oh, and it would be rude not to buy that little bee trinket dish too, wouldn’t it?!
So, so rude not to 😉
Laura, I am also tempted by that bag. Is it good? And can I get away with leopard print ankle boots for winter? When it comes to interiors my house is pretty chocca with animal prints so I now need to add a few to the collection xx
Leopard print boots are a must Lottie!
How AMAZING are those heels from Urban Outfitters. Even more tempting now they are in the sale.
I also couldn’t resist that joy zebra print plate.
Delicious inspiration Lauren xxx
I so wish I’d bought that plate when we were in Birmingham Lornie!
