With Easter falling earlier this year Mother’s Day has crept round ever so quickly in 2016. Now the day we celebrate our mamas is always a special one but for me this year it’s even more important. My mum is the bravest warrior princess I’ve ever come across fighting breast cancer with huge amounts of dignity and determination. My sister and I can’t wait to spoil her next week!
The pineapple card shown above is a cute token of affection from Oliver Bonas and I’ve put together a little round-up of gifts for the mother-figures in our lives. If flowers are more your thing then stay tuned as on Tuesday we’ve got a belter of a post with heaps of floral inspiration. For now though do drop us a comment to let us know how you’ll be celebrating on the 6th March.

Hope your mum gets better soon, sounds like she is going to have a very special Mother’s Day. My mum was diagnosed with breast cancer two weeks ago and is due for surgery in next few weeks. Going to buy her a cadburys chocolate hamper as she loves cadburys chocolate the best and will give her energy when she doesn’t feel like eating much. Hoping to take her away on holiday later in the year when the treatment is over. Will look out for the flowers post as well!
So sorry to hear your news Kat. I know exactly what you’re going through and my heart goes out to you.
Definitely plan a post-treatment trip – it’s so nice to have something to look forward to x
THANK YOU for this reminder!! I am living in Sydney and the Aussies celebrate Mothers Day much later in the year (I have no idea why). I would have totally missed it, and not shown my amazing mummy how much she means to me! x
