I wore flip-flops for the first time this week. My exceptionally white feet have been exposed for the first time in 2015 reminding me I must book a pedicure right away. There’s some gorgeous footwear around this season so we’ve rounded up a variety of open toed shoes and sandals to keep you looking super stylish throughout the summer.
Seventies
With festival and seventies-inspired fashion being all the rage the season, these Marks and Spencer Suede Cuff Lace-Ups are perfect to get you in a free-spirited mood. I flipping love a half size too as my feet are such an awkward size. They come in a darkish rust colour and a lighter blush tone. I’ll take two pairs please.
Gladiator
For a fun twist on the usual gladiator style, then have a look at these tassel versions from Boden. They come in a nautical navy & white stripe or silver mirror metallic & pewter suede. On the subject of Boden shoes, don’t forget you can still get your hands on every bloggers favourite, the Lille Lace-Up Pump.
All-rounder
It’s not too often I run for a bus but last week I found myself dashing for the number 42 wearing these low heeled peep toes from H&M. I didn’t fall over and managed to catch the bus too which makes them a winner in my book. I anticipate I’ll get a lot of wear out of them over the summer as the heel height makes them suitable for both day and evening wear with jeans or skirts. H&M have just launched a version without an ankle strap too.
Wedding
I am an absolute sucker for a t-bar. There’s something a bit dance-hall about the style and the jewel embellished design in the prettiest of gems makes the Dune Hank Nude Sandal from (Secret Sales) perfect for a special occasion. Get in there quick as they are currently on sale.
Funky Day
These Ash Aztec Sandals from Very Exclusive are fairly pricey but I have a similar pair that I bring out year after year as studs and embellishments always seem to be en vogue. The tribal aztec design is a stylish little feature too.
Metallic
Featuring both a silver and gold wide band, I imagine these Ora Office Sandals from House of Fraser with go with nearly everything in your wardrobe. I wouldn’t mind a pair for my upcoming holiday as I think they’d be perfect for an evening stroll down to a taverna.
Snakeskin
The block heel shoe seems to be everywhere this summer. If you’d like a break for the uber fashionable white then consider the Moda in Pelle Maubry Snakeskin sandal which comes in a variety of colours (unfortunately the neutral colour is sold out (boo) but there’s a rather zingy orange pair to brighten up an outfit.
I love a summer sandal. I have just bought this pair from Topshop. They also come in nude with the front strap being snakeskin. A bargain at only £28!

I love sandals! I just bought these from Next http://www.next.co.uk/g9d2092s4#954897g24 and they are SO comfy! They look really smart with skinny jeans or my skinny chinos for work. They were so comfy that I was able to wear them all day last whilst trekking round Boston & New York last week!
They’ve got fab reviews Jenna. Hope you had an awesome time in Boston and New York x

I am a little overwhelmed with the sale at the moment and had to buy these two sandales:
