Concrete is clearly having a moment. Just type ‘concrete’ into the search box on notonthehighstreet.com and you will find a million covetable things made of the stuff, from sellotape dispensers and rocking chairs to earrings and necklaces. I’ve also spotted a lot of concrete wallpaper around. And this cloud toilet paper holder did make me chuckle. Way to make a statement in your downstairs loo!
Here’s five other accessories of the cool grey variety.
1. We recently bought some outdoor furniture from Made.com which I love but I also like the look of this concrete table from Habitat.
2. I adore the simplicity of this Meryl Concrete Switch table lamp from John Lewis. (If you are looking for a budget concrete lamp then you may want to check out this one from Dunelm which I bought for our bedroom before changing my mind and buying this one).
3. I NEED this floor lamp from Made.com in my life. I have nowhere to put it, but that’s irrelevant. All I know is that I need it.
4. These dodecahedron tillandsia planters (phew that was a mouthful) would look perfect on a ledge in my bathroom.
5. The animal-heads-as-wall-décor-trend is still going strong. Just how cool is this deer head from Cox and Cox?
And if you are feeling adventurous, why not try your hand at creating a concrete console table or bathroom worktop as our talented editor Lauren did.
Have a lovely weekend folks x

Oh boo, sorry Rachel. What about this outdoor sofa…it’s rattan but I love the shape:

We’ve recently painted our fences (grey) and shed (dark grey!) which has given the garden a bit more character but now need to get some greenery and flowers in there 🙂 x

Is so hard to tell from pics isn’t it!yiur garden sounds fab, we have been toying with painting the fence grey also as our window frames are a dark grey, is just the thought of the effort involved haha!
