I have bought precisely half a present. That’s the total sum of my Christmas shopping this year. Please, please, please can someone send me some Christmas cheer and get me in the mood for the festivities?! In other news, this week I’ve been liking the following links…
- We Are Twinset have done a fab job of rounding up the best grey coats for all budgets. A special mention deserved for their Boohoo boucle jacket at just £45.
- Etsy are bringing their wares to towns all over the UK in their Christmas pop-up shops. On the 5th and 6th December sellers will be making an appearance in Brighton, Nottingham, Cambridge as well as several other cities. If you’re local it’s definitely worth popping along to pick up a unique Chrimbo present.
- We’re looking forward to reviewing Laura Barnett’s ‘The Versions of Us’ and Kate Morton’s ‘The Lake House’ in our first installment of the Autumn Book Club next Friday. Get reading this weekend so you can take part in the chat.
- The lovely Kimberley Durrant is talking about prepping your home for Christmas over on Swoonworthy. I might get my decorations out of the loft this weekend to remind myself what I actually own!
- This year there are some amazing advent calendars around. M&S have a smashing treat if you’re spending £25 in store or online as you can get your gloved mitts on their beauty advent calendar (worth a whopping £200) for just £25. Bargain.
- Finally as I’ve failed miserably on the Christmas shopping front so far I should take my own advice and check out our own RMS curated shop of Christmas gifts for some inspiration.
How is your shopping going? Are all yours sorted, boxed and wrapped or are waiting for all the Black Friday deals? x
Morning Lauren, thanks to this post I appear to have done a little gifting to myself (!) We have very few to buy for this year but can’t wait to start wrapping them (favourite part) I also have a little niece who arrived Boxing Day last year so it’s easy to spoil her – thank you Rock my Family even for those of us without littles of our own.
I hope you find your festive spirit, have a good week x
Hi Laura, how lovely to have a Boxing Day niece! Glad we’ve helped with the Christmas shopping x
