It’s not officially Autumn for another couple of weeks but with the weather feeling more October than August and the shops filling up with coats, boots and knitwear, team Rock My Style have started thinking about our Autumn wardrobes. Nothing feels more Autumnal (in a good way!) than a cosy jumper. Charlotte, Lauren and I have picked our two favourites, one that’s a realistic right-now purchase and one that’s going on the maybe-if-we-win-the-lottery wish list.
Miranda {real-list} Star sweater, £34.99, Mango
When it comes to motifs, stars are definitely my favourite, so I’m a big fan of this boxy black jumper with its scattering of white stars of differing sizes. I would wear it with grey jeans and Converse through the tail end of summer, and throw my favourite long camel coat over the top when the temperature drops.

Miranda {wish list} Mohair sweater, £175, The Kooples
At a rough guestimate 50% of my wardrobe is grey, with grey jumpers forming a large portion of that percentage, so this is not a wardrobe necessity, but oh how much do I want it! I love the punky look, the too-long sleeves and the back zip. One to wait for the sales, although even at 50% off it’s still spenny.

Lauren {real-list} Stripe jumper with heart elbow patches, £22, ASOS
I know I don’t need another striped jumper but I keep telling myself this one is VERY different. I’m yet to own a jumper with elbow patches and this one has snazzy heart shaped ones. I’m sold.

Lauren {wish list} Jumper, £90, French Connection
The slouchy black wooly jumper gets a makeover with this polka dot number. Embelished with faux pearls this is on my winter wish list because it would be perfect pub chic attire, snuggled up by an open fire with a good glass of red.

Charlotte {real-list} Sweatshirt, £29, Esprit
I’m loving this paint-splattered effect print and this sweatshirt is a really nice fit, plus it’s a bit of bargain. I’ve never purchased anything by Esprit before but the lovely quality of this number makes me think I’ll be perusing the website on a regular basis. Oh dear.

Charlotte {wish list} Bonjour Au Revoir Jumper, £252, Markus Lupfer
This jumper is so fun, I love the whole Bonjour text on the front and Au Revoir on the back. It’s definitely one for the wish list though, that’s a lot of dollar for not a lot of clothing. Even if it is super cute.

Have you started shopping for Autumn/Winter 2014 yet? Or (like me!) are you in denial that summer’s ever going to end?! What jumpers are on your realistic list, and your wish list? Do share!
Love the esprit one, so I ordered, also it’s £29 not £39!! Bargain! I adore a jumper may have to order the mango one too! These posts are all to damaging to my bank account!
Yay Kirsty! Also updated price 🙂
Ooooh, I love the starry one. How do sizes come up in Mango, I’m usually between 8 and 10? I’ve just got myself this one http://www.warehouse.co.uk/animal-print-crew/jumpers-&-cardigans/warehouse/fcp-product/6353078770 but it’s not actually been quite cold enough to wear yet!
Love the Warehouse top Anna! I’m usually 8-10 and usually get a S in tops at Mango.
Love all the cheap jumpers, that never happens!!
I know that feeling, I have a rare talent for liking the most expensive thing in any shopping round-up feature!
I like autumn and just bought an awesomely cute jumper – it’s from Sugarhill Boutique at ASOS and has an ice cream sundae on it. Which is sort of summery.
Sounds super-cute Annie!
