Hi there beauty junkies, it’s little old me again telling you all about the recent make-up items I’ve bought and loved and believe you should probably buy too. Also, most of the items are limited edition. I know, so annoying. Apologies in advance if you feel the need to buy everything immediately for fear of a sell-out situation (happens.)
Those of you that follow me on instagram may already know that I currently have this thing for peachy hued undertones rather than my usual pink this season. I think perhaps it’s because I’m unusually pale, and my hair is now uber silver/blonde, peach just seems to make me look a little less tired and under the weather (15 layers of concealer under my eyes also helps.)

If you saw my Best Natural Pink Lipsticks feature the week before last then you would have seen I mentioned Ellie Goulding’s range for MAC and the shade “Without Your Love”, well since then I’ve bought a back-up – It’s. So. Good.

It’s definitely leans towards the peachy/coral side and has this gorgeous sheeny finish that isn’t goopy but makes your lips look plump and full and luscious. Whilst perusing the MAC counter I also invested in the pale peach blush “Spellbinder” (already sold out everywhere – sorry!) but when I hit pan I’ll be purchasing one of my old favourites “Pinch O’ Peach” – very natural. Please ignore the colour of the associated on the John Lewis website, it’s clearly incorrect, it’s a very subtle rosy peach that’s sheer and buildable.

Dior has one of the loveliest limited releases I’ve seen in ages, I was tempted to buy the whole “Glowing Gardens” collections but after my MAC indulgence, restricted myself to just two. The lipstick in souffle nude is the perfect partner to a smokier eye, a kind of beige, pinky-nude with a subtle sway towards peach. I’ve recommended it to practically every cosmetics addict I know already (there are 7 left in stock at John Lewis as I type…) and much like the Ellie Goulding number, I may have to buy a back-up.

The Dior blush in Floral Pink is a pretty pinky coral, it looks too lovely to actually use but obviously I have on numerous occasions already, it’s got a definite glow to it but not in any way sparkly (6 left in stock as I type…)

Last but not least I bought an eyeshadow palette. And I’m not exaggerating when I say I don’t really have a clue what to do with it. It’s Urban Decay’s “Naked 2“, a generous selection of peaches, golds/bronzes and warm greys. I shy away from too much going on with my lids, they are quite big and I find it difficult not to look as though I’ve simply gone overboard. I love Urban Decay for eyeshadows, soft and velvety to apply, richly pigmented and they truly last all day. Thus far I’ve been playing around with “Suspect” in the crease (a muted taupe-y bronze) and “Bootycall” as a brow highlight and a dab on inner corners (a pale opalescent white peach). That’s about it I’m afraid, if you have this palette and you would like to share how you wear yours in the comments section it would be much appreciated!

Oh and if you don’t have an Urban Decay Naked palette but would like one they are currently 10% off at Feelunique.co.uk

What beauty bits have you invested in recently? Any peach related products I should know about?
