My go-to piece of jewellery is always a necklace. I have a bit of a thing about statement necklaces – the blingier the better but in complete contrast I also favour a really plain delicate chain with a simple charm on too.

With the recent trend for layered necklaces I’ve tried to give it a bash but to be honest working out the spacing between each of the chains and whether to mix metals all seems a bit too much like hard work.
