As well as running her own blog, the owner of today’s home tour also has a job in interior design. Which is abundantly clear from her wonderfully calming and beautifully styled abode. Over the past couple of weeks we’ve shown you around the downstairs and a couple of the bedrooms, and today we’re taking you on a tour of the master bedroom and garden of Claire’s characterful Edwardian semi.
Master Bedroom
We love how light and airy this room is and turned the small bedroom next to it in to an ensuite and dressing room to create a master floor!
The bed is a Superking Issie upholstered bed from Love your Home. The bedsides are the Terrace bedsides from West Elm and the bedside lamps were from Homesense! The dressing table is a cheapie from Ikea and the blush pink pouffe is from Made.com. I searched for ages to find this mirror and got it through Gumtree in the end! The paint colour is just a bright white emulsion.
In the dressing room we created all the wardrobes using the Ikea system – it saved such a lot of money!
Ensuite
We recently gave this room a little revamp and it really brought it to life.
The sink unit was from eBay but I had new drawer fronts made by a carpenter for only £60 and finished them off with the Taipei handles from Dowsing and Reynolds.
The wall lights were from one of my favourite lighting companies Fritz Fryer – these are the Upton Clear Glass Swan Neck Bathroom wall lights and the towel rails and other hardware in the room is from Rowen and Wren. The tiles are all from Porcelanosa.
The Garden
We created a little snug seating area in the side return of the garden and added a wood-fired pizza oven. It is so much fun and the pizzas are the best I have ever eaten. The pizza oven kit was from Pizza Oven Supplies. The outdoor seating set is from John Lewis. The plant shelving was from Cox and Cox.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, GORGEOUS. Claire, if you ever move out, please may I move in?!
Claire-your beautiful home is truly the dream and if you ever move out I will be fighting Lisa to move in!
As I’ve commented before I love every element of your home-it has such a calming and peaceful vibe and your eye for interiors is amazing 😉
I particularly love your master suite on the top floor-such a light and airy space-and your recent ensuite revamp is girgeous.
Would love to know where the little stool in the en suite is from-I’m looking for something just like that for our bathroom. Also would love to know where the wicker planter in the ensuite is from-it’s just the right size, colour and shape for a plant I have in our living room.
Could I also ask where the picture frames and storage boxes/trays are from on your bedside tables? They are lovely.
I’m very envious of your walk in wardrobe-and in particular your amazing hat collection! A separate post with a tour of your closet would be brilliant. I’m thinking of converting a smaller bedroom but haven’t got a clue where to start!!
Hi Shelley,
Thank you so much – you are SO kind ☺️
The stool is from House Curious and I think they still sell them.
The basket was from Home Sense- they always have a great selection of baskets.
The silver frames are The White Company, A’s are the wicker trays. The wicker little storage box is from Neptune.
Haha I love a straw hat- I tend to buy one each summer and can’t bear to throw them out when they get a bit worn!!
The dressing room really is tiny but maybe I can do an Instagram stories or live one day if people are interrelated xxx

I posted a comment earlier and it doesn’t seem to have appeared 😭

We’ve been thinking about a pizza oven. And these guys are pretty local to us in Cheshire. How did the process work?
Love the decor where is the perfume tray from?
