Over the last few years, more and more Easter decor has appeared in the stores and on our Pinterest feeds. It used to be stacking your chocolate egg boxes up on top of each other like they were in some form of shop display was as far as styling went but now we’re buying bunting, hanging eggs and all sorts of other paraphernalia to celebrate.

Wreath

Last year when I was on a break on the North Yorkshire Coast I saw an absolutely beautiful pastel egg wreath on one of the cottage doors. The more crafty ladies among us can make their own or you can bag yourself one like the one on my front door from Not On The High Street. A gorgeous way to greet your guests if you’re hosting this Spring.

Egg Cloche

Super easy for maximum effect. Grab a stash of eggs, these duck egg blue ones are from Waitrose and the brown mottled ones were from a craft shop. Pile in a few flower heads and add a dome over the top to keep in position. It’s just like spring on your mantlepiece. Cloche

Pussy Willow

The furry catkins of willow scream spring to me and you should be able to pick up stems in your supermarket or florist for just a few quid. Either add in to a normal arrangement or just place a handful in a tall vessel. You could add some hanging decorations to this too such as these John Lewis Hanging Bunnies.

Easter Tree

Speaking of hanging decorations, John Lewis have a very sweet white branched tree for £15 which I’m sure you could use all year round changing with the seasons.

Eggs Vases

One from our archives, take a white egg shell and fill with flowers for a seasonal vase. You can even add a name card if you’re after a unique placeholder for your table.

Bunny Napkin Holder

If you’re having an Easter lunch but want to spend more time focusing on the food than the tablescape then pick yourself up some bunny ears. There’s plenty of wooden varieties around where you thread the napkin through letting the ears take centre stage. These personalised ones from Ellie Ellie via Etsy could be brought out every year. While we’re on the subject of bunnies and napkins, how adorable is this little radish set-up I found on Pinterest. So much love for Peter Rabbit.

Do you decorate at Easter time? How do you embrace the start of spring? If anyone’s thinking of planning an Easter Egg hunt for the little ones in your life then be sure to take a gander at yesterday’s Rock My Family post set in my garden.
