Technically this post should be called ‘Autumn Boots Hot Picks’. I had intended to share a more varied round-up of flats and brogues and heels but in the end I found myself being drawn to all things of the boots persuasion. For those of you looking for a more balanced view, I can only apologise profusely. I’ll try to rectify this issue in the coming weeks…

L.K. Bennett

I’ll start with my favourite and admittedly the most expensive (they are fairly pricey!) of today’s round-up from L.K. Bennett which are called ‘Kylie‘ and are available in this delicious berry colour as well as in black. These boots are Sexy with a capital S and although I’d probably break my ankle if I were to wear them – they’re so HIGH! – I can’t help but want them. Like REALLY want them. I’m not sure if it’s the super shiny patent or the Autumnal hue or the fact that I’d know I’d feel like I could take on the world whilst wearing them. Either way they’re going on the wishlist for this season.

Dr Martens

Staying on the berry theme, I fell in love at first sight with these ‘Cherry’ boots from Dr Martens. I’m not sure they’re Cherry toned so much but more like Chanel’s Rouge Noir nail varnish. Admittedly they’re a little bit more clunky than I would usually go for but I can’t help but be drawn to them and think they’d look awesome with a pretty dress and tights too.

Topshop

Good ol’ toppers! Coming up trumps on the military inspired utilitarian boot for us at decent prices. I love their leather sock boot called ‘Klash’ priced at a very reasonable £49.00 and pretty much does what it says on the tin with its slimline silhouette which also come in this heeled version too if you’re looking for height.

Office

Looking for a splash of velvet? How about these beauties from Office modelled wonderfully by the model in the slider at the top here. In fact I love how they’ve paired them with a mini skirt – perfect for those slightly warmer Autumn days when you’re not quite sure exactly what to wear.

ASOS

ASOS is seriously bad for my bank balance; it’s the way they lure you in with seemingly budget friendly prices (oh only twenty five quid, go on then I’ll have ten) and then suddenly you’ve got a groaning shopping basket and you’re living on baked beans for the next month. But as long as you look good eh?

I jest. But these tan Chelsea ankle boots are just too good to pass over. I particularly like the almond rather than round toe and the stacked heel.

If you’d rather opt for Chelsea boots in black then allow me to present these beauties by Dune but available at ASOS. One of my favourite ever pair of boots (now long gone) came from Dune and I’m forever trying to find a replacement set to no avail. I love how these come up quite low on the leg giving the wearer a bit of ankle cleavage…

Jigsaw

So I’ve wittered on at length about my Jigsaw boots which I bought in blue leather last year. I’ve worn them to death and a very lovely friend of mine texted me last week to let me know that they were on offer for a fraction of the price over on Brand Alley. I promptly bought a second pair naturally.

Last week I noticed that the brand have launched a new version of the design for this Winter complete with hair on navy hide. I love the contrast between the two materials which would look awesome with skinny jeans.

Cara Shoes

I actually discovered Cara shoes after seeing a picture of our team member Cara over on Rock My Family sporting some rather delicious thigh high numbers over on her Instagram account. The ‘Eastwood’ is available in various material finishes and are priced at £160. If over the knees aren’t your thing, how about a touch of fringing instead?

The Pioneer ankle boot comes in grey, black, tan and light tan in a beautiful brushed suede. Naturally the RMS team want all four!

Alas! We come to the end of today’s round-up. If you’re really really keen then do let us know in the comments below if you’d like us to share a similar post but on this season’s flats….any excuse for us to indulge in a bit of ‘research’ really.
