From our recent Paris post and Ooh La La DIY Art Tutorial, it’s clear that the RMS team are inspired by all things French.

A couple of weeks ago I found myself on the Cachette site devouring product after product. Run by Anglo-French couple, Stephen and Delphine, the French site features the most beautifully curated selection of homewares sourced from young designers, unknown artisans and European old heritage manufacturers.

The Sunday Times featured Cachette in their roundup of Top 20 Interior Design stores and rightly so. There’s a stunning range of new and vintage products for your viewing pleasure, ranging from small items such as Marseille soap through to vintage furniture.

And, even though your items will be shipped directly from France, shipping charges are reasonable and you have the option to shop in a variety of currencies (just select the £ sign at the top of their site).

Here are a few of my favourites:

Knitted Inspection Lamp | £106.45

This knitted number wouldn’t look out of place in last month’s muted yellow bedroom. There’s a whole host of colours to choose from and I particularly like how the textured knit softens a very masculine industrial style look.

Handmade Stoneware | From £6.55

Now you can get the Provence kitchen look without leaving your own home. This charming yet practical crockery range has a contrasting chalky matt finish and glossy texture.

Blackboard With Hook | £31.12

Admittedly a blackboard looks less chic with an English shopping list, but this lovely board would look fabulous in any kitchen.

Candle Stick Shaped Candle | £13.92

I love this design! A modern take on the Victorian candlestick, these all-in-one candles are a gorgeous way to light your way to bed.

White Enamel Cutlery | From £9.42

These beauties have recently been featured in Elle Decoration and Red Magazine. Even though the metal cutlery has been enamelled in a delicate shade of white it’s completely dishwasher safe.

Iron Word Of Your Choice | £2.46 a letter

Anything custom-made gets a big tick in my book and I am a huge fan of these decorative iron words. I think the ‘bonjour’ version would look right at home in the Coleman kitchen.

What would be on your wish list? Do take a look at the Cachette site and then drop back to let us know what’s caught your eye.
