The other day I was in Paperchase heading to the counter with a pineapple-shaped trinket tray to add to the pineapple print playsuit, pineapple pendant and pineapple print t-shirt I already own when I paused *does best Carrie Bradshaw voice* “I couldn’t help but wonder, had I reached peak pineapple…?”

Then I remembered who I was, channelled my inner Samantha and gave myself a good talking to, which went something along the lines of… “Peak pineapple, are you mad? Buy the damn trinket tray.” I bought the trinket tray. Obviously. My inner Samantha was right, peak pineapple is not even possible when there’s so much ace pineapple-related paraphernalia to buy.

  • The folk at Oliver Bonas love pineapples almost as much as team Rock My Style. Case in point this set of four metallic spoons, £16, and look out for the matching salad servers (pictured) coming in August.
  • This is the Paperchase pineapple plate that had me questioning everything, it’s just £4.50 and looks right at home on the mantelpiece in my bedroom.
  • Prefer to eat your pineapples? This pineapple and ginger jam, £5.99 sounds delish and, like everything from Selfridges, looks great too.
  • Kiehl’s Pineapple Papaya Facial Scrub, £24 at John Lewis, is for sensitive skins and made from real fruit apparently.
  • For just £4.99 at H&M you get a candle and a ceramic holder you could keep stuff in after you’ve burned the candle.
  • Gold shimmer nail polish with colourful sparkly bits would have caught my attention even without the excellent name Pineapples Have Peelings Too £12.50 at Harvey Nichols.
  • If you’re going to invest in the plate, it would be rude not to get the matching salt and pepper shakers, £6.50 for the set, from Paperchase.
  • Another candle, this one’s blue and is pineapple-scented, yours for £12 from ASOS.
