Every year I inadvertently find myself declaring ‘oooh Easter’s late this year or ‘wow, Easter’s early this year.’ However this year Easter falling at the beginning of April feels about right. In turn this means Mother’s Day falls on Sunday 15th March and subsequently means you should be getting your hands on a card for your mama pretty soon.

Here’s our round up of some of the best cards to show your ma you care.

One Hot Mama | Studio Seed

Charlotte and I thought this sexy legs and killer heels card was perfect for a new mum. Ideal to send a friend who’ll be celebrated their first Mother’s Day or leave hints for the other half to buy one for you instead.
The grosgrain ribbon bow is a really sweet feature to this very lovely fashion illustration. See the full range over at Studio Seed

Love from Your Favourite Child | I am Nat

For a cheeky and cute message to your Ma then head over to I am Nat. Perfect if you and your siblings ever joke about who’s the favourite.

The following cards are all from Little Paperie, a quirky stationery boutique stocking some of the most stylish paper products around. Their website isn’t yet up and running but you can get in touch via their Facebook page.

Happy Mother’s Day | Rifle Paper Co

I have an obsession with the work of Anna Bond so adore this bold and bright illustrated card. The spring palette is guaranteed to bring a smile to your Mum’s face.

I’ll Always Look Up To You | The Art File

I have to admit I also have a penchant for a flamingo. This illustrated card of mother and baby birds is really sweet and I love how the glossy flamingoes really pop against the green.

I Love You Mum | Ruth Jackson

This series is absolutely genius. Pencil shavings form a seriously adorable heart on this blank greetings card.

You Make The World a Pretty Place | Steph Baxter

I can’t get enough of gold foil and anything pink makes my heart sing. This would make a fab card for any girl in your life so smashing for other occasions as well as Mother’s Day.

Which one is you favourite? I’m hard pushed to pick mine they’re all so flipping pretty, My Mum might be getting more than one this year! If you’re tempted to make your own card then don’t forget to check out our DIY greeting card post in the RMS archives.
