Is it me or is there a hint of Spring in the air? I’m loving the sunnier mornings, slightly longer days and the prospect of being able to potter in the garden again. But I’m also loving all the new Spring homeware ranges that are hitting the shops. Anthropologie is killing me with its gorgeous colourful floral-without-being-chintzy decorative bits and pieces, and as usual I would quite like one of everything from H&M Home please. And as today’s post demonstrates, there are some real bargains to be had.

1. Birch Wood Hanger, £8.99

Remember when all of Team Rock My went crazy for these wall hooks? Well H&M recently brought out a new birch version which is a paler, more rounded shape and would look great in a hallway/bathroom/nursery.

2. Vintage Pink Pendant Light Shade, £8

The selection of lighting at Wilko at the moment is INSANE. I’ve decked most of my rooms out in grey or cream pendant lights but how pretty is this new vintage pink shade?

3. Cow Parsley Doormat, £5

If you’ve graced my front door recently then you may have noticed that I have a new doormat. It’s this one from Garden Trading and is now half price and an utter snip at £5.

4. Macrame Cushion, £8

Laura from Rock My Wedding brought this cushion to the team’s attention ages ago and it has been sitting in my online basket ever since. If you’re wanting to add some texture to your living room/bedroom then this cushion’s your man.

5. Metal Decorative Llama, £10.50

I SWORE I wasn’t going to jump onboard the llama trend. SWORE it. That was until I spotted these cute little guys in Hudson Home. The large llama is £14.50 and the wee one is just £10.50.

6. Brass Soap Dispenser, £7

How spendy do these Dunelm brass bathroom accessories look? I bought the soap dispenser for my downstairs cloakroom back in December and was so impressed that I went back to buy another for the upstairs bathroom, plus the matching toothbrush holder too.

7. Dustpan and Brush, £10

Another Garden Trading find (have you ever shopped there? If not, you’ll get lost down a hole. I’m currently lusting over allll their garden furniture. Did I mention I’m ready for Spring?), and it’s a practical one to boot. As a mum of two EXTREMELY MESSY kids I find myself getting the dustpan and brush out after every mealtime, so I thought I might as well make it a pretty one.

8. Monochrome and Pink Print, £12.99

I’ve got to admit, up until now I’ve always been a bit disappointed by the wall art offerings at H&M. That was until I spotted this poster. It’s a similar design to the gorgeous Block Shop prints favoured by the likes of Emily Henderson and Courtney Adamo.

9. Dotted Vase, £8

You know how I mentioned that I’m loving the new colourful floral stuff at Anthropologie? Well this bud vase ain’t floral or colourful. But at £8 it may just be the best bargain I’ve ever spotted at Anthro.

10. Copper Globe, £15

I have a spookily similar globe in my lounge: mine’s identical, other than the fact that it was from Anthropologie and it’s blush-pink-and-copper rather than cream-and-copper. And whilst we’re talking globes, how pretty are the new Anthro globes?

11. Large Stoneware Vase

This sculptural piece looks straight out of an antiques shop but in fact it’s under £20 and is from H&M. I’d be propping it on my kitchen worktops amongst my ever-growing collection of wooden chopping boards.

What have you been buying for your abodes recently? And lustworthy pieces you care to share? Which shops’ Spring ranges are you loving?
