It’s that time of year when we sign off again for another merry Christmas however we will be back next week with a few posts to tide you over until the new year.

This is the first Christmas in five years I’ll be in Northamptonshire and James and I are really looking forward to spending it with our nearest and dearest. As much as I love going back to the motherland, it’s great to know we don’t have to do the usual M1 dash to get to Sheffield. We’ve got a very full house on Sunday with my parents, James’ mum and husband, my sister-in-law, niece and partner (Head Chef, Mike) as well as James’ step brother and lovely girlfriend. On Boxing Day my sister and brother-in-law will be joining us too and then we’ve got Open House on 28th. Before I forget, thanks so much for your board game suggestions – on your recommendation I managed to get one of the last Linkees in the shop so hopefully it will keep us entertained.

As for the rest of the team Lolly will be spending Christmas at her mum’s with her parents, sisters, partners, Ste and Hector while Lisa will be enjoying a low-key day with Rich and Lyra. Like me, Charlotte will be hosting in her gorgeous new pad trying to fit 14 round her dining table.

How are you spending Christmas this year? We hope whatever you have planned over the next few days you have a time filled with lots of love, laughter, great food and great company. Enjoy.
