I am mega excited about sharing some of the industrial interiors finds in this post with you guys but at the same time holding my breath, because I know how quickly good-value stuff sells out. And praying that it’s all still in stock by the time this post goes live. If any of it is out of stock, I apologise now. And if it’s not – and you end up spending a fortune – I apologise now.

All of the pieces I’ve included below are from the style of décor that I consider to be the coolest kid on the block: industrial interiors. From exposed brick to battered leather armchairs, steel beams to raw wood, neon signs to concrete everything, the industrial trend looks set to stick around for the foreseeable future. (Whilst we are talking concrete, did anyone spot the concrete cake featured over on Rock My Wedding last week, complete with edible succulents? Uh-maze-ing.)

The Bookshelf

I would quite happily deck my entire house out in West Elm if my budget allowed. Take this bookshelf for example: it’s elegant, sleek, and sturdy. For a slightly more purse friendly option, Asda sell a shelving unit which nails the industrial look but for just £35. (Have a peek at the reviews. It’s been rated five stars by real people so you know it’s gonna be good.) And the white version is almost as covetable.

The Crittall-Style Mirror

Our very own Amy from RMW is extending her abode and has recently treated herself to this Maisons Du Monde mirror. Her thoughts? It’s heavy, sturdy and brilliant value for money, and perfect if you had your heart set on this Cox and Cox mirror, but not so much the price tag.

The Bar Stools

Statement bar stools are the perfect finishing touch to a kitchen island. These weathered oak and metal beauties are from Cox and Cox, but French Connection do a near-identical version for half the price.

The Bedside Table

At £149 I don’t think these Swoon bedside tables are excessively priced, but at a mere £29 the Asda versions are AMAZINGLY priced. That’s cheaper than a night out for two to the pictures.

The Shelves

I’m sure I’ve spied this style of shelf in lovely Lauren’s kitchen. The Locker Room storage shelf from Nkuku is crafted from battered wire and looks deliciously retro and weathered, and the Cox and Cox version is slightly more polished, but still screams industrial style. You just know either would look good in a hallway/office/kitchen/bathroom/bedroom… Basically any room.

The Lighting

When it comes to industrial lighting, metallic elements and exposed bulbs are all the rage. Next are killing it with their industrial lights, from pipework creations to concrete pillar lamps to caged line lights (this season’s take on the ever-trendy festoon lights). And if like me you’re desperate to add an Anglepoise to your collection, Wilko sell a super-reasonable brushed-copper version. There’s no such thing as too many lamps.

The Black Cutlery

Whilst putting this post together I sent Adam a message to ask him whether he would recommend his new Swoon cutlery and what followed was possibly the longest conversation two people have ever had about knives and forks. Adam RAVED about the Swoon set. Apparently they are his and Lizzie’s first dabble with premium – very elegant, and clearly designer items. Oh, and they also make food taste nicer.

Are you a fan of the industrial look? And if you haven’t checked out Gemma’s NYC-style apartment yet, the bedroom of which is in the header image, then you’re in for a treat. Yes I know it’s a Christmas home tour, but the weather has been Christmassy of late, wouldn’t you say?
