Hope you all had a wonderful Easter bank holiday weekend, we’re dirty enabling en masse today as it turns out the team are all very fond of a little Eau De Nil. Although sometimes we can’t quite distinguish between this and a minty green – so we’ve incorporated a mixture of the two.

For beautiful wedding guest and bridesmaids dresses head on over to Rock My Wedding (and if like me, you are neither a bridesmaid or going to any weddings this year then I’m sure we’ll need a new frock for a summer party or two). And for fresh-hued children’s fashion, accessories and interiors then Rock My Family should be your next blog stop.

It started with choosing the linen cover for Your Day Your Way. I really loved the shade of green/blue. And since then I’ve seen a plethora of homewares and wardrobe essentials that I’ve either bought or are hanging around in my virtual basket waiting for me to hit “buy”. I promise you I’m not narcissistic with regards matching my interiors and closet to my own book…although that would be amusing, I’ve actually always been a lover of a minty piece of furniture. I incorporated the shade within Mabel’s nursery and the West Elm Mid-century desk in Oregano that you can see in the header image (a belated gift from my husband) is literally one of my most treasured possessions. Not least because it has THE most immense drawer that is the perfect depth for storing my vast collection of cosmetics.

Possibly the greatest selection of green has to be at Cox and Cox where I’ve treated myself to a hand blown vase. Admittedly I do have approximately 458 vases but this one is extra beautiful. I’m seriously considering this swivel stool for my dressing table in the Master Bedroom and wondering where I can put this wooden shelf because although I don’t need it I really want it.

In the header image you will also just about see the world’s coolest teapot – the Ocha by Oliver Bonas. It’s to go on my open shelving in the kitchen along with these Amara Heart Bowls – not only gorgeous but £2 goes to the Eve Appeal with every purchase.

Wardrobe wise I need to replace my much loved H&M mint cardigan that is looking ever so tired and worn, this New Look one is almost exactly the same and is a bargain at £9.99. I’m also lusting after these Adidas originals suede superstar trainers which will not only spruce up my jeans-and-a-Tshirt weekend staple outfit for Spring, but are 100% running-after-a-toddler friendly. I wasn’t going to buy any more clothes until Lottie went and ruined it by sending me a link to this foiled sweater from Zara. I mean seriously, for £17.99 everybody should buy one.

Last but not least and admittedly cheating a bit, as well as being completely frivolous I might add, is this bohemian lingerie set . Labelled as “Aqua” it looks distinctly Eau De Nil-esque to me. And I really rate Topshop for underwear if you don’t necessarily require a lot of support on your bust. The quality is high for the price point and the fabrics and details are undeniably pretty.

For nails Essie laquer in “Mint Candy Apple” can’t be beaten, I buy a new bottle every year. It looks stunning with a (fake) tan.

Do you love a hint of mint? Any Eau De Nil purchases you have made recently that you would like to share? As always your excellent shopping recommendations and interior styling advice is most welcome in the comments section below.
